The Bucs. Are they for real?

The Bucs. Are they for real?
I think I strained my eye rolling it so far back after reading Raheem Morris' comment about Tampa being the best team in the NFC. I am simply glad that Coach Smith doesn't make those kind of comments.

Anyways I am doing my best not to overlook Tampa as we can see Baltimore looming in the distance.

I am not a genius with the stats like some of you wonderful folks are but from what I can tell we should clearly over match them in the Dome. Josh Freeman does seem to have something special and I think he could be a worry in a year or two or perhaps sooner?

Now to answer my own question I think the Bucs have had an easier schedule and once they start playing teams with winning records things will change. They have several tough road games coming up too and I don't see many wins coming out of those games. Still if the Bucs were 9-7 this year I wouldn't be shocked.

The Bucs have scored 98 and allowed 128. I can't explain why they are winning. Though, Morris's deal with the Devil explains something. Freeman just doesn't make mistakes right now. Somethings go to give.

I'm a little worried about how we sometimes play bad teams ugly. Thing is I'm not sure if they are bad or not. Perhaps somewhere in the middle.

RE: The Bucs. Are they for real?
As I have said before. The league is too close right now. Everyone is "for real" these days. But can the Bucs win the BIG games? Yes, we lost to the Steelers in overtime. Yes, we got slaughtered by the Eagles (Which was no surprise, I had it booked we were going to, we always lose to them for some reason.) but . . .

The Buccaneers really needed to win against the Saints for me to consider them something special. They lost to the Saints and the Steelers though. Which isn't too bad I suppose. However the Saints did just get slaughtered at home by the Browns. So that definitely downgraded the Bucs in my book.

I won't deny it though, no doubt, they have a good football team over there. But mistakes by Freeman will start coming. It's only a matter of time.

If we come off our Bye and lose to the Bucs at the Dome then I will give up football.

They got squished by the Saints in their own house.

No, they aren't real. We sure as hell are though.
