Thank you Falcons
I'm not gonna get too mushy and stuff, but this year has been the worst of my life by far. Almost everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I've been pushed beyond my breaking point and have had years cut off my life. But the one thing that has kept me relatively sane this year is my Falcons. There are several people on this board who are going through tough times personally or being affected by the trials of someone close to them, but I think having this team do the things they have done so far this year has helped all of us make it through. The one thing I will be able to take away from 2010 is that the team I love the most has put themselves in a prime position to bring that Lombardi to my city. So thanks to the Falcons and to this board for giving me something positive in 2010. Let's get 2011 started off right with a Super Bowl.

So the Falcons success has helped you too? I knew you were one of us Tongue

But seriously, I can't even imagine dealing with what you're going through with your father. All rivalries aside, you're in my prayers.

I appreciate that, Tony. I think I am delving into this cyber world more than ever more to get a break from real life. I had my bout with the bastard cancer in July of this year when after a routine colonoscopy and they found a cancerous polyp. I was lucky. It hadn't spread. So, they just snipped out about eight inches of said colon just to make sure. The only draw back is when I have to crap ... I have to crap. Undecided

It was about four weeks ago when we found out about Dad. We have a very strong family and will deal with it all.

As a shout out here to all members fifty or older, get that colonoscopy and PSA now. It can save your life.

You forgot to mention that you met me. It was the greatest moment this year Big Grin

Nah, maybe getting the tickets from Tandy and having a blast watching us beat the Packers on that last drive. Wow, that was awesome.

I didn't know you were that old dude, err, sir Big Grin Just shows love of football knows no boundaries. And it's great they caught it early, my grandmother is in the middle of taking some meds to clear some junk out of her so she won't have to deal with that.

Yup, I am that old. Given the fact that I became a Saints fan in 1967 I'll bet that I've been a football junky longer than most of you have been alive.
