Terrell Suggs: Tom Brady "whines a lot," gets special rules

After his Patriots beat the Ravens, Tom Brady took a shot at the Baltimore players, saying, "they talk a lot for only beating us once in nine years."

Brady was referring specifically to Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs, who was jawing at Brady both during and after the game. And Suggs isn't done talking about Brady.

"For a guy that whines a lot . . . at least I didn't have any rules put in for me," Suggs said, per the Baltimore Sun. "I don't care. I'm over it. It was last week."

Suggs also indicated that he expects the Ravens to play the Patriots again in the playoffs, and he vowed to get revenge.

"He can have the last word, but I'll have the last laugh," Suggs said, "I promise you."

I suspect the next time that Brady comments on Suggs, he will visit the Patrick Roy school of trash talk ownage.

I hate the Patriots. I can remember them going for it on 4th down when the game was out of reach the last time we played them. I hope Suggs gets the chance to lay a big hit on Brady, not talking a concussion type hit of course.

I don't remember the game as being out of reach when they went for that 4th down, but I hear ya.

Actually, that game was a learning experience for Mike Smith. The Falcons had a 4th and 5 on the Patriots 38 yard line in the middle of the 3rd quarter, and the Patriots had only punted one time all day. The score at the time was 16-10.

For some odd reason, Smith decided it was a good idea to punt. It was both a dumb call and a cowardly call, and the Patriots made him look stupid by preceding to ice the game with a long march down the field that featured two 4th down conversions, one of which was a 4th and inches from their own 24 yard line.

Smith learned from that. I don't think I've seen him punt again on a 4th down inside the 40 yard line of the opposition since then lol.

Old Poot Suggs will jaw to death, but he's a joy to watch on Sundays.

I agree that Brady cries everytime someone breathes on him, But the Ravens as a team are the biggest bunch of whiners when they lose that ever graced the NFL.I wish they would ALL just STFU and play football.

Yea, I still remember that chickenshit call. Seems like he made one other call like that around that time and hasn't since. Was it the Philly game or am I "misthinking" ?
