Blah, don't say words like "guarantee". Although I do agree that there's very few teams in general that will have players make as huge an impact for them as Julio will make for us. (and Quizz for that matter too, too many people are overlooking what he will do for us, it's nearly as much as Julio, IMO, with regards to forcing defenses to play honest sideline to sideline).

But, I will admit that after watching the NFLN special with Michael Irvin doing his Gruden impression with AJ Green & Greg Little, I'm very glad we didn't pick Greg Little. He's dumb as a stump, runs horrible routes, & with his average at best speed, he's not going to be an impact WR. He has amazing hands and he's really strong, but he doesn't come close to having the "it" factor that you see some times. On top of that, it was very clear he is going to have issues learning a complex playbook, listening to authority, and making football the #1 priority (ie. staying out of trouble). He looks like he can't wait to get a big paycheck and go party.

Just my observation.

Now Phil Taylor looks like a beast and I think Jabaal Sheard will be a solid DE some day. But I do agree I don't see them having the impact for the Browns like Julio will have for us.

The fans and critics alike complained that the Falcons offense needed some more explosive players. Some guy(s) who could stretch the field, and give us a deep threat. Or heck, even a speed option! Now we have it, and no one likes it. And not to mention, we haven't even hit OTA's yet!

My take is, yes we spent a lot. But complaining isn't going to change it. The best we can hope for is that Julio performs as expected and he doesn't get labeled a bust. Did we sell a lot of future picks in the deal? Sure did, heck, we may have cost some serious draft options in the future for the team. But I think it's worth it. Plus, no telling that TD doesn't try to sell a few guys going into the 2012 season for some draft picks.
