TD interview on 790 the fan
Seems to be pretty standard interview. In essence, was not happy with our lack of explosive plays this year, says our roster may have lent itself to that. Has no issues with packaging picks to move up to get the player that he wants if he thinks that person is a game changer. also said we would be targeting some free agents to make us a more explosive team....

no prob, i think its fantastic that TD is forgoing Hawaii to go to the sr bowl, but actually I don't expect less of him. As scary as it sounds I think he would rather be scouting football than be on the beach in Hawaii....

TD has been saying this for a while. He has followed his draft plan to a "t" since he has been here. If fans have been paying attention they should know this is the year we get those special players that are capable of being explosive and game changers on both sides of the ball. TD has said it 100 times.

I can't tell you how hilarious that is to me. When I said that, and I did many many times since before the season started, people told me that I just didn't understand the offense, and this team had plenty of offensive playmakers.

So.....interesting.

Right. Because "roster" refers exclusively to skill position players. No way could he have possibly been referring to an offensive line who couldn't screen block or protect long enough for explosive plays to develop.

Don't pat yourself on the back too hard there, Swift.

Well look...if you listened to that interview and thought he was talking about the OL, so be it.

Hopefully the Falcons can get a couple of those explosive Centers and Guards in the next draft.

Maybe he can draft a few of those for the Hawks!

Thats great news cause we desperately need "wow" factor on both sides of the ball. Tbh the side I think need it the most is offense.
