Some parts of his arguments are pretty legitimate, but most of his argument is killed by his horrible comparisons.

The ball had to be thrown high. If the ball is a bullet pass low, Tramon doesn't even have to make the play. That was a great throw, and Williams made the play on it.

wat > are you serious that was not a good throw .. If it is a bullet throw that doesnt give Tramon time to get in position . Learn the game Chris . It was basically same throw Rodgers looked off S and then fired it to Jones.. Ryan late on read wr was open lofted ball in end zone ..

HERE IS A MAJOR POINT

You can be late with your read and make up with it if you have a LIVE ARM

is that correct

You don't know basic physics if you think throwing that ball on a flatter trajectory would have made that pass complete.

I think you need to learn the game. Tramon was tracking the QB as he was chasing down Jenkins. Jenkins really wasn't that open once Ryan DID throw it, not at all actually. He made a poor decision. Not a bad throw. If Ryan throws a bullet pass, he either knocks it down before he intercepts it, or he turns and intercepts the ball without jumping.

I think what you're failing to do is look at the coverage of the plays you are comparing. You find me a play where the coverage is the same, the QB's throw at the same time, and it's the same offensive route, and you'll have an argument.

Ryan was so late on that throw, that Jenkins WASNT open anymore. He was open for about 10 yards after the initial snap.

1. He didn't ask about Weatherspoon, he asked about Dez Bryant. Why are you ignoring his initial question? If Dez was drafted by the Falcons and ended up hurt I guarantee you wouldn't jump TD's shit because you were the one who wanted him. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

2. You do realize after getting rid of Moss, Brady didn't really push the ball down the field as much? He just used 100's of different weapons and his OC is much better than Mularkey. Brady has also always had the luxury of a pass catching RB out of the backfield. Kevin Faulk and now Danny Woodhead who stepped into that role after Faulk went down. Kevin Faulk is one of the most underrated players in the league, love the guy. Atlanta is still searching for that pass catching RB. If you want to give yourself the option of stretching the field you need that luxury but you wouldn't understand that.

1) would I bitch about TD drafting injury prone players yes ..He drafted Weatherspoon and he got injured as well so what is the point .Id rather have a play making wr who injured his ankle but made game changing plays then a OLB who basically made none and was also injured

2) you must have not watched alot of Pats games ..Brady still stretched the field with Herandez and Branch ..

Brady had 53+ plays of 20 more yards

Moss only had 3 with pats

again I just killed your reply there TRY AGAIN

RE: TD interview on 790 the fan
TBH while you are both making great points I think a MAJOR reason for this is the ability to have a RB catch the football Turner caught 12 passes all year that is not good enough, would I sacrifice a LB to cover Turner on D no I would drop him into extra coverage... I think a lot of our Offensive woes are fixed once we can have a RB that can do it all.

Cut the name calling. You know who you are.
Opinions exist no matter how idiotic they may be.

Let's keep this respectful.

And Swift, remember that your Ryan talk needs to be in your specific thread. This topic has strayed.

You guys get back on it or we need to close this up and move on.

We all agree Ryan was late with throw ...that is correct ..You can make up for late reads with a good live arm . Say you saw a wr open late and the window is about to close a good strong throw could still fit into window ..When you dont have a good arm and you throw late..Guess what happens INT

That throw to Jenkins should have been a td

1) He should have throw it on time
2) if he had a good live arm even late its still a td
3)ball hung in air .Jenkins had to come back to ball and try and make a play and slipped

Gotta disagree with you there. I thought it was a terrible throw, and a really easy pick after Jenkins slipped.

will do I dont want to keep bumping that thread though ..I dont hate Ryan and only bumping that thread up would think that .This thread swayed into Ryan discussion I just took part ..Ill just stay away from all Ryan talk I see 95% of the fan base is falling into that Vick trap where he can do no wrong and in 3 years when people start seeing what im seeing now they will bash Ryan and I wouldnt be looked as a bad poster

If he would have thrown it earlier, flatter, and further, it definitely would have been a TD, unless Jenkins dropped it.

Williams was cooked on that play.
