He then corrected himself and said he just found out it has been canned. Terribly disappointed.

Supes, this is definitely sad news. I'm proud to know that you as a fan and creator of Falco stuck up for what you believe in. That is the greatest thing to hear about this sad event.

I just want you to know they every fan that seen your work has appreciated it. Falco was like one of our own voices from the message boards to the entire NFL.

I'm also glad that Falco will be back for the playoffs. Man... this news just downright sucks. Grrr.....

Which is hilarious, because some asshole who someone has never heard about, has decided that because he is an asshole with a sliver of power, he will determine that things that fans and players both like is possibly offensive to an imaginary group of people/Roger Goodell.

They are going to take away Roddy's stick, just because it's made out of hickory.

Does the stick belong to AFO or to the fans?

Good point, I'm very happy you didn't end up as the sell out. If Falco starts saying, "I hope we both play a good clean game, while knowing that winning isn't everything." I'd probably attempt suicide on the spot.

That sucks, I logged off twitter right after the first response.

This blows.

The hick'ry stick belongs to its creator, Superfan and he can award it to anyone who will accept it. Roddy seemed OK with it!!!

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

RE: Superfan's Cartoons Fired
Losing the HSA is what pisses me off most. I really loved seeing that we as fans, were able to award something to who we felt was the MVP. Not just that, but see that person awarded with it. The interaction with the team that we love, as fans, was huge. Removing that definitely hurts.

I guess now Tom and Jerry, Elmer, Bugs and Daffy, Sylvester and Tweety, the Road Runner and Wile E Coyote need to be retired from pop culture society as well?

Don't let da man stop you Supes!

This reeks of the NFL's hypocrisy over it's image with the violent hits of the past week.

Sounds like the FO wanted to look squeaky clean in all of it's "official" branding per some phantom "memo"

Bring Falco over to Atlanta Falcons Talk and help build the "non-company sponsored" and "uncensored" forum!

I'm offended whenever I see that violence, and I still petition Warner Brothers whenever I see their cartoons that support such disgraceful acts. Falco is just perpetuating the stereotype that falcons hit things with hickory sticks.
