Superfan's Cartoons Fired

RE: Superfan's Cartoons Fired
Wow, what the fuck! That is so stupid! The cartoons, sure I can live with that, but taking away an award for the players by the fans?! Downright bullshit. I Think we need to start some sort of petition. I can't help but feel that Supes is upset and is just saying all of those things because he doesn't want to burn any bridges.

We've got a few lawyers posting here... we need to get some papers drawn up so we can 'adopt' Falco. That's what I think.

I understand wanting to have freedom, but seems like a compromise could have been reached here. What does this do for the Hickory Stick award?

I don't even see what's so bad about that cartoon. It was the FREAKIN PINK PANTHER! It's not like it was a caricature of Steve Smith or something.

What the hell?! More and more it seems to me that the NFL as a whole is turning into a pansy pc league. I feel like they are aiming for flag football games with the players talking about their feelings afterward. I'm disappointed that the Falcons have taken such a negative response to good natured ribbing.

Think this was what was the issue.

Yeah...I can see that. Especially after Vick was through here. Even though it is a cartoon, it does depict animal cruelty. I don't agree with it, but I could see their reason for pause.

Ahem! This whole pussified politically correct NFL management can kiss this old boy's ass.

Oh yes! Take away all defensive hits that stop a ball carrier in his tracks! Oh and hell yeah, let a receiver have 5 or 10 yards after the reception until he is no longer "defenseless" before the stop.

This limp d*ck NFL management establishment will not be happy until the scores are 85-83 and the only defensive play allowed is to push the ball carrier out of bounds.

Nascar has sold billions of dollars to fans who want to see dramatic crashes. The NFL has always glorified crushing hits in their hsitoric videos so now what do we have?

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

RE: Superfan's Cartoons Fired
Thing that I hate is that the bean-pusher who made this decision is really not the one who should be calling shots like this.

Should actual management become aware that the fanbase that created the FNCO and the Hickory Stick Award (which was loved by the players) was getting slapped down over a cartoon, I know that cooler heads would prevail.

The fact that last week's attention to violence has spread into the realm of cartoon means that someone takes themselves too serious, and it isn't the one with the paintbrush.

We love you Supes... keep fighting the good fight.

AND GIVE US BACK OUR DAMN HICKORY STICK AWARD, POINDEXTER!
