I will be the first person to admit the HICKORY STICK was dumb as shit and a embarrassment of our fan base but you guys thought it was cute and it was a online community thing and it started to pick up some steam and was able to connect with fan base to player ..I just think grown MEN handing out branches was dumb ..I know I would get killed for this but thats how I feel..We have a fan base that doesnt even get into there seats in time nor do they pack the dome I thought it was just a gimmick .. like a rally monkey etc ( Im more a traditionalist )

With that being said SUPERFAN/GRITZ I do love your work and time and effort you guys put into these drawing are done really well and both of you guys have some talent

Swift, as you may or may not know, Phocis and I spend some time defending you and your opinions and we actually agree with a lot of your "negative" opinions, even though I think they could be worded less harshly sometimes.

But I did want to share a thought on something I figured out much too late in life myself - just because I have an opinion on a certain topic, doesn't mean there is any value in sharing that opinion.

It's obvious you enjoy the role of stirring the pot, and I have been famous for doing that myself, although my style is a bit different from yours. The point is....I can appreciate that aspect of what you do on a message board.

But the bolded comment above.....just comes off as mean spirited. Which is a bummer cause you were trying to say something nice there I think.

I'm not asking you to change your style, but I would requests that you ask yourself before you make a post "Do the words I am going to type serve any purpose other than to agitate people?"

That's all I am saying.

Swift would laugh at the 4 year old kid who made his Dad a fathers day card. Guess someone has to be the villain....

Only attention seeking whores would say something like "I think that award was humiliating" in a thread like this so yeah that pretty much sums up that whole poster.

Quote:Many times - it's people who are not affected who are so indignant about the rights of others.

Exactly. These types, despite what they preach, are the most intolerant and ignorant people around. They think they know better than everyone else and believe that their "more evolved" views gives them license to think for everyone else. Anyone who disagrees is a cretin. More often than not, those that they are trying to "protect" are actually more offended by their misguided efforts. I just call them dumbasses and move on Big Grin

I respect that Peyton ..

That is just me being me ..I do this in real life as well..Not really a act if I dont like something I say it..Just me being me..I did say at bottom I respect what they did
I was just giving a honest opinion

Some times in life as we call there are people who do that such thing without trying to hurt anyones feelings. I just dont like people who say positive stuff and will be the first person to talk behind someones back..Thats not my style Im upfront brash

I will tone it down and I do agree with you some things are just left to leave your opinion out and this could have been the case in one but if you read the entire thing I said I liked the cartoon and the drawings more then the STICK cause it takes talent to do something like that

I think as FANS we should be FANS ..we are not the team even though we act like it we say WE , this we all breed and eat sleep the Falcons i just thought it was more of a gimmick for a fan base that already gets a BAD RAP

Wasn't there a woman kicker for the Cowboys in the early 90's?
