Because Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005.

I agree - I'll have to try to find out how the standings are ranked.

RE: Standings nfc South
This is what I found about Division standings - The tie breakers between 2 teams within the same division - in this order:

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in common games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss

Those standings are wrong. The Bucs have a Division Win. The Saints do not. The Bucs should be #2.

Because they've played two NFC teams, but Tampa did beat Carolina which should make them second.

Dome Section 232!
