Thumbs Down SportsCenter
Their coverage of the game was piss poor.
Probably a 1 min segment on the game. 3 min spent talking about NO.
Its like they had to squeeze the game inbetween all the Cowboy talk.

The Cowboys won a game and you would think Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones just cured cancer.

LMAO, now that is funny. But unfortunately the truth. I really thought after that game, "Yes, we'll finally get some pub" only to have my hopes crushed by the pathetic coverage yesterday, even on Football Night.

RE: SportsCenter
These guys make me sick I was around before ESPN and grew up with them and respected and liked them but they are total garbage these days not just for there total disrespect to us but there total bias to the big market teams or there hand picked flavor of the month teams.

RE: SportsCenter
It's understandable. We didn't spent $1B on a stadium. They're much more talented. And Phillips' job is in jeopardy. I'm in Italy right now and watched highlights from all major networks. Coverage was pretty piss poor all around.

Random thoughts about the coverage:

Chiefs are getting totally disrespected even though they are playing WAY above their heads.

Vince Young gets benched last week, they destroy the Giants, and it's blah, blah....

While the running game of the Falcons was a major factor, Smith, Ryan and Gonzalez had GREAT games.

Pitt destroyed a 2-0 team on the road with a 4th string QB.

San Diego is 1-2 with far superior talent against a weak schedule.

Everyone's preseason favorite, the 49er's are 0-3.

Vick has looked better than McNabb. That's a shocker to me.

Oh lord, who saw NBC's coverage last night? They showed Ryan running for 13 yards. And. That's. It.

RE: SportsCenter
Yeah I have given up trying to get respect from ESPN. I have come to believe that even if we won the Super Bowl all they would want to talk about is the Cowboys and the Saints.

I will say it again, winning will change this. Not one game, but consistant winning. That is the only way the Falcons will get the respect you seek.

If we go 6-1 just watch the bandwagon rolling in.
