So the Falcons loss was my gain
Husband entered a football contest at work with everyone being assigned random numbers and whomever had the correct numbers at the end of each quarter would win. We got it in the 3rd with the score 28-10. Won $125, but I don't feel good about it.

At least you got some cash out of it. More than the rest of us got.

Loss is a loss... Your profit doesn't change it one way or another, so better a loss with profit than not.
Congrats on your luck. You can use the money to buy home playoff tickets (I hope the fan base isn't going to give up after one bad game)! Formerly SBC Falcon

RE: So the Falcons loss was my gain
Well winning the money was killer because my husband kept hoping no one would score points and I was hoping we would. Bittersweet I suppose.
As for the team no one should give up. The simple truth is that we are not good in Philly. For whatever reason we just don't match up well with them. It breaks my heart cause I think we all really dislike that team. I have major concerns about the O line though... |
