Well I was told that after I had won the poker tournament, I wouldn't let them put the chips away. They were trying and I was going "These are my chips man, keep your goddamn hands off my chips."

And they had put the money on the table, and of course I got up from the table and walked out without the money, but these incredibly honest dudes were nice enough to stick the money in my pocket lol.

I quit drinking 3yrs ago tomorrow. I was a bad drunk. More than a few times I have been flamed for something I said while totally hammered. Bacardi 151 was my favorite drink and I would chase it with a beer of my choice. Michelob on payday, Red Dog the week after payday, 211 steel Reserve Black Label when I was slumming it.

Blackouts are not only real, they are waiting for you the very moment those drinks start tasting good to you and you say, "Oh what the hell."

Yeah I decided not to drink anymore after this experience. I'm not really the "social drinking" type. I never drank that often, but whenever I did, my intention was to get a hellabuzz on. And I'm just too old for that stuff now.

Yeah, I was 32 when I quit. I didn't drink often at first, but then I became a lush. Man, you talking about a monster drinker here. The effects lasted up until sometime last year.

The key to drinking is to get to that cool buzz point, and just coast the rest of the way. Get to the "feel good" point and ride that. That's what Ive done for 20 years, and Ive never had any problems.
