Not saying we need 70-0 games...I am simply saying I would like to get up and not let teams back into the game....Parity yes, but still know reason we can't manhandle a team once and awhile....Winning close ones is more important than losing them but there are a few times this year the win should have been a lot easier...this week was a great example we got up by 17 then just kind of stalled....if not for clock mismanagement by the Saints....this game was a lot closer and they controlled the ball the way we use to.......It would be nice to have a little breathing room....This week was far easier on my heart than other week's but there were a few plays that if they go the other way..

From everything I have seen and read, the way Mike Smith is letting his guys get a few days of rest here is the same as every team has been dealing with the 2 games in 5 days.

not really worried about the mini bye, I am worried about what will happen if the clinch HFA and a 1st round bye by week 17, think 2 weekends without a game might do more harm than good.

Yeah, this worries me a bit too, but there's nothing that can be done about it, comes with the territory. With 2 more wins we clinch home field so it could end up being 4 weeks in between meaningful games. I almost wish there was another team sitting at 10-2 to keep pushing us.

We've already had a bye for the playoffs before. We lost.

2003 - New England 1st seed vs Carolina 3rd seed
2006 - Indianapolis 3rd seed vs Chicago 1st seed
2009 - Indianapolis 1st seed vs New Orleans 1st seed
2012 - ???

So every 3 years going back to 2000 at least one #1 seed has made the super bowl.

Like I said it means nothing. Just like worrying about the bye.
