41-7
It's not like the penalties hurt us much on Sunday. Against Pitt a different story.

The adrian Wilson flop was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Tall, old, lanky Brian finneran barely slaps 6'3 230 lb rock solid Adrian Wilson in the facemask and knocks him down lmao.

Finn must have really been hitting the weights

I am sure the next time we see Adrian Wilson, he's going to get blind sided. Floppers are disgraceful to the sport.

RE: Smith: Be aggressive, but don't get caught
anyone besides me not believing that 'Falcons are in the 10 least penalized in the NFL' statement? is that for this year so far or what? i mean it's only 2 games, i guess maybe the memo's to call nit picky calls on us hasn't gotten around to all the crews yet. LOL

i love that our guys are being aggressive. did the mizzou crew each get a flag on the same play, but they took Moore late hit out of bounds? gotta learn to be smart while he's being aggressive.

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

Those are youthful mistakes which will improve as their game time moxie gets sprinkled with game time savvy.

"I don't know that there is any issue. The umpire is definitely in a new position. We've got to block better," Smith said.

I wonder if he means they need to block the view of the official in the offensive backfield better?

The Falcons have been doing pretty good on penalties this year but the calls against Baker were frustrating. Finneran's penalty was laughable. Dude flopped like he played soccer. Kind of embarrassing for a safety. I could understand if it were the punter but dude is a safety.

We need to get a real top talent LT to protect the QB and give him time to throw without having to hold.

too bad garrett reynolds doesn't play LT that dude is huge

It's gonna be interesting to see what our O-line looks like next year.

RE: Smith: Be aggressive, but don't get caught
Im not buying that. Sam Baker is just being caught cheating now that the Umpire is standing behind the LOS, where he can see him better. And that bothers me, because LTs who depend on holding usually indicates a lack of talent, or compensating for an injury.

I am not a Sam Baker fan at LT. I think he needs to be moved to either Guard or RT.

RE: Smith: Be aggressive, but don't get caught
Only problem is, what do we do until we fix the "issue?" It's not we really have a chance to get a new body in there until April. It's probably best to just let them play it out for the rest of the season. It doesn't bother me too too much that Baker is getting flagged heavily. We all know from that old adage that there's holding on every play. Baker will find his niche and everything should be ok.

This is my signature.
