He looked good in that game. He looked like the Mike Vick everyone was hoping he would be one day but didn't he get sacked like 5 or 6 times? He still holds the ball with one hand when scrambling which makes him a fumbling machine.

i hate the loaf of bread thing but its a double edged sword. if he tucked the ball the proper way he loses some of that extra step that makes him so lethal in open space.

i would agree if he was working with the same lack of talent he dealt with here. the eagles are light years ahead of where we were when he was here offensively. its not even close. vick still throws bullets, but now that his receivers are catching him, hes "putting the ball in tight windows" instead of "not having any touch whatsoever"

i think people forget how stellar vick was until the knapp mora regime slowly ground his progress to a halt. i could see if knapps system was successful elsewhere, but the minute he got to san fran their offense got progressively worse every year. when he went to the raiders they had the worst passing offense in the league, same with seattle. vick wasnt a coach killer, the coaches were qb killers. its just my opinion feel free to disagree but it is what it is.

Why are teams showing interest in Kolb right now? I don't think there is a single team in the league right now that doesn't have a quarterback better than Kolb. . He might be able to give Matt Cassel and Derek Anderson a run for their money, but that's about it.

And Clevelend being interested? Well, I'm absolutely flabbergasted and puzzled about that one,

I really have to wonder what McNabb feels like. He's the one who lobbied for Vick so hard. Now, he's basically lost his job to him.

They play in 2 weeks. Should be interesting.

It still shocks me that they traded McNabb to a division rival, then gave Kolb a big contract. It's like insanity has hit Philly. I also believe Andy Reid favors underdogs, or those that have made mistakes and have redeemed themselves. Reid's sons are drug addicts that have been in and out of jail. Maybe Reid compares Vick to his kids or something. He seemed so adamant going into week 2 - Monday that it's still surprising that Vick is starting.

In a way I was hoping that Vick would take the starting job so our D can light his ass up week 6 Big Grin

. Plus, I'm sure the Falcons want some get back for.... whatever you call what happened last year.

I think McNabb couldn't be happier. He's has a HOF coach, no stress from Philly fans, and is with an up and coming team. Plus, if it had been McNabb that had gotten the concussion then he'd be the one getting benched. If I were McNabb, I'd be thanking the man upstairs every night.

Was gonna say what Poker said. McNabb is probably happier where he is. It's looking like the Skins aren't going to suck this year, although they will have to go thru the rebuilding tribulations. I dunno. I really like Shanahan, and to me, it's apparent he's turning some things around already.

God love him for having to put up w/Fatty and Toast, though.

Comparing Vick now to the Vick in ATL is careless.

Your comparing a arrogant punk to a humbled team player. You can obviously tell it's different guy just in the way he speaks, he's not the same hoody wearing thug that he was in ATL.

There have already been plays where Vick has stayed in the pocket or moved a bit and still passed first before running. Old Vick would just run.

I know some of you don't want him to do good, and hope he fails, but get over already. I mean damn, hold a grudge much?
