The "grudge angle" might be true for some people but it's not true for me.

I'm not one of these people who feel like I have to or need to wish good things for Vick...

He's not a friend of mine or a family member. I don't personally know him. He might be a nice guy one on one or he might be a complete asshole. I don't know.

One thing I do know is that he is no longer affiliated with my favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons. I don't care about Vick at all except on the day that the Falcons play the Eagles.

Then I want the Falcons to crush him....just like Brees this week and Alex Smith the week after that.

Your comparing a arrogant punk to a humbled team player. You can obviously tell it's different guy just in the way he speaks, he's not the same hoody wearing thug that he was in ATL.

There have already been plays where Vick has stayed in the pocket or moved a bit and still passed first before running. Old Vick would just run.

I know some of you don't want him to do good, and hope he fails, but get over already. I mean damn, hold a grudge much?

I have noticed a change in him, in his interviews and pressers, for the better. When he was a Falcon, my wife teased me relentlessly whenever he was on TV, or the game was on, mocking those "Ehr Tran" commercials he did, and calling him marble mouth and stuff. I couldn't say much back, because, well a) she's my wife, and b) they were god-awful. I remember cringing anytime he'd ever have to step up to the microphone for an interview.

I'm not sure what happened w/him in that respect, but he's almost well-spoken now. It's quite the 180.

I happen to be a dog lover, so I don't have a lot of respect for him, for what he did. And that truly is hard for me to forgive and move on over. But I don't hold him any ill will as a qb. He's an exciting player to watch. Will be good for him if he gets his shit together and has some success (unless he's playing the Falcons or any game that affects the Falcons' success). I understand he did his time, and I'm definitely a believer in 2nd chances. I just don't see myself legitimately "rooting" for the guy.

I understand people not wanting to hang his posters up on their wall, I love dogs too, and he is an Eagle!

I just think you cannot compare the Eagles Vick to the ATL Vick. You cannot predict his success there with what we saw here from a guy who admittedly didn't give it his all.

He was fascinating when he wasn't giving it 100%, imagine the beast that may awake when he does. 105 QB rating is pretty spectacular.

I still despise what he did, but my opinion is solely based off on the field actions.

RE: Several teams call the Eagles about Kevin Kolb
I'm going to be honest here. This whole Vick thing has just made me a bit ill. Not with him but with the Eagles. It just seems very wrong to me to get 100% behind a guy and give him a ton of confidence and then bench him after 10 passes. I feel bad for Kolb and I think the Eagles made a terrible mistake.

Eventually they are going to see the real Vick who can be brilliant but is often a horrible decision maker. In the meantime you aren't giving Kolb a chance to grow and you have pretty squashed his confidence level.

I just don't like it.

well put, i'm going to have to agree with you 100% on this on how i feel about the subject, I to am an avid dog lover, hell me and my roommates have 3 pits, 3 of the greatest most loving dogs you will ever meet and will I ever respect him in that regard absolutely not.. but I enjoy him as a qb, always have always will

I will reserve Judgement until I see Vick keep this up against a real defense.

Looks like Philly is committed to Vick now. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

He seems like hes got his head on straight, aand imo i believe he is really sorry for what he did, and i wish him the best, except week 6.

A Vick with a Brain is the worst thing any team could ever hope for.
