Seriously? Great year! Stop acting like we went 0-16!

Seriously, this was an amazing year! Fuck all the haters, Matt Ryan proved he can get the job done. He played GREAT today outside of the fumble. If he hadn't separated his shoulder I think we had a real shot there the final 11 seconds. The 49ers are a great football team and outplayed us.

You can't be upset about all the big passing plays by the 49ers, that's what Kaepernick does for an offense. You pick your poison and hope he screws up. We got nutted on a roughing the passer call, and the Matt Ryan fumble.

We need Gonzalez to come back for one more season, we haven't reached our ceiling. This is still OUR time. We just missed this year, but we learn from mistakes and next year they are going to hit that field with a killer instinct, the one thing they lacked.

On another note, Swift, shut the hell up. You get old. Just admit you aren't a Falcons fan. Everyone already knows it. You're the biggest seething douchebag I've ever seen on a fan site. It's terrible. You call it being real, I call it overly emotional. Matt Ryan will have his contract renewed. We haven't reached our ceiling and the rollout wasn't actually a designed roll out, he had LBs breathing down his neck. We just played the best team in football, PERIOD. No if, ands or buts about it and we were the closest to beating them out of all the other "big" teams.

The Falcons reached their ceiling? Come on man. The guy is a complete and utter douchebag. He complains about Julio dominating, so he goes out and dominates, and Swift still isn't convinced. He complains about Matt Ryan in the playoffs, Matt plays one HELL of a game today (The interception was Roddy falling down, NOT a bad throw) and we come so close to a Superbowl trip, yet he still believes the Falcons are terrible? The guy is just ridiculous.

he also did fumble a snap and had ball in his hands in 4th quarter and inside red zone and did not get job done . We credit Ryan for being clutch . He was not clutch today in biggest game of his career

I agree, we had a fantastic year. But a lot of people, we had the Braves and sorry that's what I hate about Atlanta, I mean look at Indy. Peyton Manning didn't win his super bowl till the 5 or 6th time, then he went a 3 more after that and now is with the Broncos. Now don't you think Indy gets pissed how many times they have made it to the playoffs and not getting to the super bowl. It shows you have to be good in ALL facets of the game, we have a great offense, that's not going to change much except TE, But we have areas that need to be improved. I still hope we don't lose Nolan, but we need to re-examine thing. but I agree we had a Great year. We have been back to back winnings seasons 3 years in a row. Look at the Jags? They suck period.

exactly! we lose some people this year I think make a difference. In a positive way. One thing about this FO/Staff, they seem to be a little too loyal sometimes. (think back to Adam Jennings). So McClure, who has had a good solid career moves on (hopefully) and we get a chance to move someone better in. Did he keep his job this year because he was REALLY the better player, or because of tenure and loyalty? Turner, how many of have called for MT to be gone......

Me too and I think that too, McClure retires and we put Konz or the other guy at center and draft another big guard. Matt has to get used to a new center, but we have to get better. Age sucks in the NFL, but we have to get younger in cetain areas. Age is sometimes better for center, because he calls out a lot of the things. But its time, same way with Abe, we are shackled with the 4-3, which we use him part time. We are probably the only team that does that. We need to change to 3-4 or make some changes like drop Sidbury. Read this. Sidbury and some others they need to change to 3-4 what Nolan is good at, or do something.

He threw the ball on 4th down because he was about to be clocked, which he was and he got a dislocated shoulder for it. I have problems? So by your logic, you want him to hold onto the ball and take the sack? Hm. Seems legit Swift! Good stuff.

He fumbled a snap, sure did. That didn't single handedly lose the game. Maybe you should look at the correct reasons we lost, like our team not having a killer instinct and our coaches going sour on playcalling every week we hit the 2nd half.
