Seahawks planning to sign DE Edwards....
Apparently the word out on some of the news sources says this is simply so the Seahawks can prepare for our defense should this be our fist game (they are anticipating they will beat the #4 and the #6 will not advance).

Hopefully that slug Edwards and his lack of motivation and inspiration will "Shine" through as he tries to explain the complex techniques...

An interesting thought would he be entitled to a ring if either team "wins"?? I know this is somewhat objective but I heard a veteran was only required to be on the roster for one game during a superbowl run to be eligible (again this may be something the team has a say in....but I am sure there is some NFLPA rule that states this.....

I imagine they won't get much done in film study, Ray will spend most of the time gingerly fingering his nipple rings.

Just marinate on that visual for a minute.

Meh,

I doubt he'll be of any worth.

RE: Seahawks planning to sign DE Edwards....
If they think talking to that sack of spuds will help them out smart the same DC who has led a defense that has stifled every elite QB they have faced this year. Edwards is a fucking waste of space. Seattle will hire him and pay him and end up getting nothing much of value from him except they won't know that at the time.

If he had anything worth giving a team would have taken him by now. The Defense has changed and evolved. If there is anyone worth discarding Edwards was it.

I like that they're looking past the divisional game. I'm sure that won't have any affect on their preparation, though.....

Funniest thing is that they assumed Ray listened to anything. Its apparent that he never did.

They are smart if they do, Nolan has been able to come up with solutions for every offense we have gone against this season. Whether Ray Edwards can give them any insight is highly questionable though.

yeah Dave! I agree, I posted this on the other board, but for those who don't go over there, heres my thoughts on this

y'all know what this screams to me? a couple of things:

a) - they're scared of us, and are stooping to whatever means they feel they have to, to try to be competitive

b) - they're overlooking the redskins (or whomever else they might have to play in the first round) and focusing on beating the Falcons

this screams desparation to me. how many games have they won on the road? not a lot, they lose a tremendous advantage outside of the stadium they control the piped in crowd noise

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

a) - or it could mean they are doing their due diligence, looking for any possible advantage they can. I don't know that it necessarily means fear, but I'm sure their coaches know that if they play us it will be a challenge and as such they should do everything they can to prepare.

b) - entirely possible, but it would be a mistake for any team to overlook any other team in the playoffs.

Chris Mortensen just said on NFL 32 that the Seahawks only worked him out to have him on their list of guys available if they lose someone to injury.
