I can't believe it's a 6-year deal. It better be heavily backloaded so we can still sign a defensive player or two.

not a bad deal. This is smart move . If they did a short compact deal it will be forced cap. They stretch out Baker and give him incentives and bonus. I would like to see the numbers and bonus he got. This move also says that at any given moment Holmes can take over.

We won't know that until we see how much guaranteed money he gets. If we can't afford to cut him until year 3 or 4 without taking on a lot of dead money it would be a retarded move.

can't see TD being that dumb to give him more than 8 million signing bonus . 6 years 32 million . 8 signing bonus. Throw in incentives. Gives us two more years to groom Holmes and if Baker gets hurt within next two seasons doesn't kill cap on bench.

Exactly. Makes me wonder what this deal looks like. He's been injured nearly his entire Falcon career. That and he already had a huge payday and he didn't live up to expectations.
