You know, overall the refs did a really good job today. I don't think that they missed any major calls. They ultimately got Snelling's non-fumble call right....and as much as I hated it the punt hitting DeCoud was the right call also.

Agreed, I was very happy with the refs today.

Plain and simple...the Saints outscored everyone last year and made it easy on the defense. This year, they are struggling to score and their defense is being brutalized.

Thankfully they got the Snelling call right. The refereeing was good, and the calls that needed to be over-turned got over-turned. It was a fair and balanced officiating day.

Im still not happy with all of Baker's penalties though. His penalty killed a crucial drive that would have given us a 1st down.

True. Last year they had a Madden like year. They just outscored people and relied on big turnovers from teams trying to force big plays to keep up. They also relied on a bunch of luck and got a lot of breaks from the officials.

This year the luck is running out, the big calls from the refs aren't coming as often and the offense has fallen off it's epic pace. If teams aren't forced to throw the ball all over the field to keep up with the scoring pace they won't throw as many INT's and the Saints D can get exposed.

They were a Cinderella team last year and had a charmed existence. Thing are bit different being the hunted as opposed to the hunters. Personally I hope the fall is long and hard.

Seems to me, Mike Smith totally disrespected Sean Payton and Greg Williams by intentionally, on the road even, going for it on 4th down, as if to say, "I will be more aggressive than you"

Oh, and this one..

I find it intersting..last year teams feared the Saints.....after the Super Bowl, seems NO ONE fears the Saints, and are using their games against them as their own Super Bowls....no fear, but as a measuring stick... Falcons passed with flying colors...and copy cat league will try and expose weaknesses...

^ This from a Saints fan. LOL@ how they, of all teams, think the media is against them. Give me a break. And the Saints could very easily be 0-3, that's a fact. They could, by the same token be 3-0, but that's football, every team just about could make similar statements. Hell even the Lions could.

LOL. I love how a bad call from Mike Smith is seen as a sign of "disrespect."
