No. It that's Prisco created a lead implying that Saints players pissed on the logo for shock value. Having worked in the sports journalism business for many years I was simply disgusted by the approach.

All that said, it's a non-issue.

The Falcons and their fans decide if it's an issue. Not Aints.

LOL that is what is funny. It's no different than Gene's article. He did the exact same thing, he just used a different quote that meant the exact same thing.

Note the different approach here with the same quote. Per Prisco:

Smith was holding back a sly grin as he talked. I asked Ayodele if he would be offended if the Falcons did that on his team's logo.

"Absolutely," Ayodele said.

This was still riding with the implied actuality of pissing and the quote ended there.

Here is Wojo's presentation:

At last, the truth.

He pointed out the posing and included the Alex Brown response pointing out basically that they knew it would piss the Falcons off, but it would be more a distraction than anything.

I just hate the way that the mainstream media has begun to cloudy the lines with the journalistic wanna-be world of blogging. Prisco's article would not have made it by any editor's desk that I knew of.

To be fair, there is no "we posed on the Falcon logo" quote in the ESPN story. Ayodele could've been quoted correctly.

Besides the Falcons succeeding in the playoffs and winning the Super Bowl nothing will give me greater pleasure than seeing the Ain'ts eliminated from the playoffs!

If not in the Wildcard weekend then at our hands.
