Saints CB Gay out with concussion

I don't think the Falcons need respect. I like the Falcons being the underdog. It makes other teams underestimate them.

I see what you are saying and I won't try to tell you that you are wrong for your opinion, but my opinion differs a bit.

I want other teams to fear us. I want the Falcons to be respected. I don't want people to say "it was a fluke season" like they did in 1998. In order to have that, we have to beat the best teams when they are healthy and we have to do it consistently. I want to beat their best players, not their backups. How can you truly measure success when you win against the second tier? That's my opinion.

Even we beat the saints it will be discussed two ways.

They had a bad day, or they aren't as good as people say.
We need to smack them around, and every other damn team across the scrimage consantly for the entire season if you want the attention you desire.

in three weeks the only thing that will count is the won and loss record

when they beat us last year no one cared that 1/2 our team was hurt

that's just the way it is

with Reggie out they will say it anyway so we should take any break we get and be thankful IMOP

Theres really not that much pf a fall off from Randall Gay to P Rob. He has learned a lot and looked better in every game of the pre-season. Randall Gay is solid, but Robinson is quicker and has a better break on the ball. This game is going to be really interesting.

Actually, Malcolm Jenkins rode Gay to the ground from behind & then banged his head pretty hard resulting in the concussion. Gay was noticably dazed & confused as he just sat there doubled over on his knees once Jenkins got off him.
