Saints CB Gay out with concussion — 10:38 p.m.

New Orleans Saints cornerback Randall Gay left Monday night's game against San Francisco after being knocked out with a concussion.

Gay hurt himself late in the first quarter, tackling 49ers receiver Josh Morgan near the sideline. The Saints said after halftime that Gay would not return. — AP

If Jenkins comes back this week....Our 3 wide set could be deadly against them. They lost their nickel back.

Subtle, but good placement. +1 on the joke. Lol . I'd much rather see us have to pass against the rookie cornerback than the vet. Yet another injury that will work to our favor!

Maybe it's just me, but I would rather play a healthy Saints team with a healthy Falcons team, especially this early in the season. I don't want to hear from the different network analysts and Saints fans that we won because they were injured at RB and CB.

Who cares about what they say. All that matters is the win at the end of the day. I could care less who's in the game. They are missing two players. Way I see it, if they can't fill in for them, they don't have the depth. Look at what happened when Norwood went down and Turner went to the sidelines, Snelling came in and dominated from the 3rd string.

you two should have been in the chat room last night when gay went down... LMAO sorry, couldn't help myself.

ok so the injury means the rookie has to play, and maybe we will beat him deep a few times, or we'll take advantage. maybe this helps us get the win a little easier.
I'd rather win with them at full strength, just take out all the possible questions that way and KNOW we beat them when they were at their best.

i do realize a W is a W when you look at the records, but i want our guys to know they won facing the best team the saints had.

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

It's just one of those things where it is hard for the Falcons to get the respect that other teams have. Usually on ESPN or NFL network the Falcons will barely get a mention because people don't see the Falcons as a real threat.

Now, the Saints are our biggest rival in the NFC and I would like to walk away with a win from a healthy Saints team rather than be given a win because they were lost at some key positions. I think some of the Falcons players would probably feel the same way but I won't attempt to speak for them.
