The Pittsburgh coach who decided not to run, despite averaging over six yards a carry, with the ball with 3:30 left in the game won them the game. Seriously three straight incomplete passes? The fact is they still won and winning is all that matters, right? Doesn't hurt having the top D either. Pittsburgh was up 20-6. They stopped Notre Dame on 4th down on a clean defensive play. The refs called a phantom PI call against Pitt. ND got a touchdown on the next play and had all the momentum. Without that call Pitt gets the ball back and runs out the clock. ![]()
