S William Moore talked about Atlanta's need to be physical

Let's not talk about taking people out. We don't need to go out there and injury people. We just need to play smart and play hard. They are coming off a hard fought game on a short week. We are coming off an easy played game on a normal week. We have the clear advantage with energy. The difference needs to be to make them waste as much energy as possible in the first half so we can let our offense roll in the second.

No to mention that Turner basically had 2 1/2 quarters off against AZ so his wheels should be especially fresh!

They are at home - in one of the loudest domes in the NFL. They have one of the best OLs in football. They have a wily, talented QB in his 10th season leading the offense. They have been on the winning side of bad calls for the last 4 years for some reason unbeknownst to mankind.

We, in no way have the clear advantage with energy.

This may be our toughest game on the schedule period. If we come out of this one with a win - it will be because we played flawless, smash mouth football, played smart, protected the ball all 4 quarters and did not shoot ourselves in the foot with bonehead penalties.

Or because we knock Brees out. (I kid, I kid!!)

Anyway - we are not going to waltz in there and snatch a win because they are on a short week. You bet your butt they used that extra time to sneak a little Falcon study in. Not only that - but you can bet they will be playing at a level we haven't seen them play so far this year.

No, they clearly have the advantage - but if we play smart, hard and fast for the entire game - we can come out with a win anyway.

As for being physical - it's a must. They will be physical to the point of crossing the line - and they won't hesitate to take the occasional late or cheap shot when they have an objective. They do it all the time. We must be just as physical and give it back twice as hard as we get it to stop some of those "cheap shots"

I would really really love to see Moore deliver a bonecrushing hit to Meachem or Coleston & cause them to have T-Rex arms everytime they cross the middle & hear footsteps.

we need to treat them like bitches. you might think im joking, but i think its vital that we "out swag" them. its something they thrive on and something i think our newer faces can bring to the table in this game. the outcome of this game is going to tell us a lot about this team win or lose.

I know a Saints friend and he said, watch the 49ers game, the saints WRs played differently because of the 49ers defense, they didn't want to get hit. I just wish Moore wasn't the one saying it, let Robinson talk it because hes got the cred if Brees goes after him, might not be a good thing for Brees, but Moore is still a rook.

We saw Dunta get physical a few times last week (thank the Lord above) and we've hoped for that from Moore too, and seen flashes of it so far. Yeah I know it might be better for a vet like DRob to be making the statements, but I just love the swagger the new Mizzou connection bring to our "D Block" defense.

I wanna see Moore get a blitz opportunity like DeCoud had last year, that would be sooo sweet to watch, and maybe Tandy get's her wish there.
