Look at our record in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

We gave up more yards in that game against the Steelers in 2002 than we have in any other game in franchise history. Don't tell me the scheme doesn't work, with or without Ryan. A bunch of nonsense.

You think our offensive line is as good as the 07 with that monster running game they had that year as well? You think our defense does as much for our offense as the 07 Giants with their 3 All-Pro/HOF caliber pass rushers? You honestly think Michael Jenkins and Amani Toomer are the same type/caliber as each other.

Don't hurt your arms reaching that hard.

lollllllllll @ you bring in the fucking defense of Giants ..

did Eli Manning make the same fucking mistakes Ryan has in playoff games..and when Giants needed to make a play and even in Super Bowl after there defense gave up lead Eli came back and help lead Giants to a win

Toomer was TAIL end of his career ...so yea I will say that was the equal to the likes of Jenkins and anyday of the week Tony G >>>>>>>>>>>>SHOCKEY
so dont give me Ryan doesnt have weapons

and are you serious ...OMG PITT OFFENSE PASSED FOR 400 yards on us back in 02'...who hasn't had those type of games vs our shitty ass defense in a game that went into OVERTIME ....brilliant ..

There is a REASON why Mularkey has been fired from a couple of JOBS

Can his system work ........yes
it also can be successful ...but not with a QB that is not capable of getting ball down field nor has the TOUCH or accuracy on deep ball
along with the talent we have now we are MAXED on offense and we will continue to be inconsistent

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

Some guys are just football players. But since you asked, why don't you check and see what defense Matthews played in at USC. Check his scouting reports. The most important thing though, would be to check his blood lines. Dude was born to play football. It's not hindsight. It's called instinct. You really want to tell me he was a bigger risk than Pariah? When lb was a position of need? Come on now it doesn't take a genius to figure out the safer pick. It's ok to admit that TD is NOT a genius. It doesn't make you less of a fan.

TD doesnt know what football players or play makers look like..he hasnt even drafted for BPA ...guy in 3 years is living off the 08' draft of the QB ..

shit I will even say if we even took Flacco and had same coaching staff we would just be as successful ..Outside that

TD has done a shitty ass job putting talent around this group

funny the homers wont answer

WHAT PLAY MAKERS have TD drafted

Sometimes you have to rub shit in someone's face before they realize it stinks. Let's put this same offense on the field next year and look for improvement. Not going to happen. People seem to ignore the fact that Ryan's int's dropped dramatically because they didn't let him throw ducks down the field as often. He just isn't a big armed qb and probably never will be. That doesn't ban him from success, it just means he needs playmakers and an offensive system to thrive in like Joe Montana.

Yes even a broken clock is right twice a day so save the small handful of youtube videos that Ryan actually throws an accurate deep ball with good velocity and touch. This team needs complimentary WRs, and a better offensive system that doesn't place the workload on a running back who can't get it done consistently and a qb whose talents aren't being exploited.

No... Eli Manning never had any bad games in the play-offs...

Oh wait... 2005 - 10 of 18 for 113 yards and 3 INTs - Didn't even score a single point.
2006 - 16 of 27, 161 yards and 2 TDs with 1 INT

It wasn't until 2 losses and his 4th year in the NFL that Eli finally got going in the play-offs. Superbowl. Maybe you should apply your same standards for Ryan as you do everyone else in the NFL.

Tell me about all these jobs Mularkey has been fired from. Don't worry, I'll wait. I'm pretty sure the 2002 Steelers had 2 WRs go over 1300 yards for the season as well, with an average at best QB and garbage at RB and TE. Yep, totally the scheme.

Lol at you talking about touch and accuracy while talking about Eli Manning... Didn't go over 7 YPA until his 6th year, threw nearly 20 INTs the first three years he started all 16 games, and didn't have over a 60% completion rate until his 5th year. What a joke.

And I guess we'll all try to ignore the fact that you just pulled that out of your ass and called it a fact.

RE: Roto: Dimitroff and Snead are heavily scouting wide outs
I think it's hilarious how people didn't link the two things together. Ryan downfield attempts? Down. Ryan ints? Down. Coincidence? Not even close. The kid is smart as hell, it's time to exploit that. I think the front office thought he would be able to get stronger faster, but it's just not happening. It's sad you guys attack Swift is a Die Hard for being objective and honest and you can't even refute what he is stating.
