Ryan is actually a slow starter. He is too excited when he starts the game - tends to overthrow and make most of his mistakes.

Of his 18 TDs this year - 11 have come in the 2nd and 4th quarters - ending the half and ending the game - that's where he shines the most.

If the Falcons are able to follow the formula they have all season and keep this one close into the 3rd quarter, you have to like their chances of winning this game in the same manner they have all of the others.

So many if's Peyton. It's time to believe!

Well.... Smoltzy gave up his share of HRs in the first couple innings too! Tongue

You might not believe this, but pretending I know what is going to happen on Sunday doesn't help me enjoy the game anymore.

I have no idea what is going to happen on Sunday, but I am optimistic.

I'll tell you the most interesting thing to me, and this says something about Ryan's ability to gather the troops.

In over seven of those wins the Falcons actually coughed up the lead in the 4th quarter, allowing the team to tie 4 times and take the lead 3 times.

So Ryan and the offense have been pretty good in the pressure situations.

The D needs to rise up in the 4th quarter!

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

RE: Rodgers Vs. Ryan Splits
Colin Cowherd had actually been ranting about Rodgers a couple weeks ago. Specifically his games with the margin of 7 points. There is something about Rodgers that I don't trust. It's not quite stat padding, but I don't fear him as a QB like I do Rivers, Brees, Manning, or Brady.

The reason is simple. Rodgers clearly has a pattern of choking on it when the game is on the line.

The Redskins game is the best example. He had a chance to drive down the field and win the game at the end, and instead he threw an awful interception and gave the Redskins a chance to win it.

That's why I really like the Falcons chances in a close game.....a lot.

Rodgers is not even close to the Elite's levels. I honestly don't see why they put him in there. Oh wait... it's because he throws 400 yards a game. To be elite you have to throw a lot.

I'm not scared of Rodgers. He's just another qb. blah.

Against the Division
Ryan vs. NFCN = 5-0 (100%)
Rodgers vs. NFCS = 1-5 (16.7%)

I like those stats Wink
