Roddy video with a great long ball from Matt
I know the people saying that Matt can't throw the deep ball have an agenda, but in the unlikely event that there are a few people who really aren't sure, at the 1:20 mark he throws from the 49/50 and hits Roddy at the goal line. This was last year, and Matt is stronger now... Anyways, I don't see many QBs throwing longer than this without RAC. |

To be fair, that wasn't the greatest throw. It was inside, and that was important, but Roddy made that play. Against a backup Cornerback as well though. But I know Ryan can do it, that just wasn't the best example of his work.

He released that ball while Roddy was still on this side of the 20 yard line because the pocket was collapsing in on him. He had to put enough air under that to give Roddy time to get to the ball while throwing it a little sooner than he should have to avoid a busted play. I think that was one of the best examples of his work you will ever find. ![]()

They work so well together they make every throw and catch look easy. |
