Rob Ryan
Rob Ryan just interviewed with the Cowboys. Smith needs to make a move and pull this guy in for an interview before he accepts the job in Dallas. Just my opinion. I know the guy runs a 3-4. Is it unreal to think the Falcons could run a hybrid 4-3/3-4 defense with a couple of key offseason aquisitions? Biermann and Sidbury might do well as 3-4 OLB's.
Ahhhhh! I'm graspinig at straws over here. Pshhh! I'm just frustrated. |

RE: Rob Ryan
Wishful thinking I'm afraid. Nobody is getting fired after 13-3, just not going to happen.

RE: Rob Ryan
Would love to have him as long as he doesn't have the weird fetishes like his brother.

RE: Rob Ryan
I don't know if Rob Ryan even knows how to run a 4-3 to have a hybrid defense. I would be a long shot because Dallas wants him and Jerry Jones will probably offer him enough money that will be very hard for him to turn down. I would like the idea but most 4-3 players either take along time or never get comfortable transitioning to the 3-4 scheme.

RE: Rob Ryan
Honestly I don't know the whole Tom Moore situation with the Colts, but why not? If he can grow Peyton into...well Peyton, why can't he use his magic and help get Ryan where he needs to go?
Just wondering. -ROCK CHALK!!! |

RE: Rob Ryan
Tom Moore is an OC in name only. Manning has always ran that ship.

Smitty looked pissed when the Packers were doing whatever they wanted to us. This is a man that prides himself on the defenses he's come from and he's not going to let someone like BVG stand in the way of having a great defense.

No thank you....last thing we need is any link to a cancer like Rex.....just my opinion. He is good, but we need solid coaches and less distractions.

Any progeny of Buddy Ryan will be a bloated, overbearing egotist, just like the old man. Not a fit in Atlanta by any stretch. |
