RE: Released Abe
Today is saturday, he said he went monday, so I'd say about 5 days ago.

The think the more important question is what was he doing in a strip club on a monday?

RE: Released Abe
Look guys I'm not saying I haven't been thrilled with the last 5 years because it's been great. But every season has ended with me having my heart ripped out and the lost to the Niners was the worse because of how close we were.

It may sound strange but to me that's part of the fun. What I mean is no risk, no reward. Part of how good it feels to win a title is risking the punch in the stomach when it doesn't happen. And the closer you get, the worse it feels. But just think how good it will feel the day that it happens. Honestly if someone could magically guarantee a title for us next year I wouldn't take it if I had to know it's coming. To me it's not just about winning a title. That's not enough. I want to enjoy the ride through the ups and downs of the season through the playoffs and culminating in a title.

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

Kidding, just couldn't resist. Tits were cool, more ass in there than anything. Being an ass man, I was delighted.

Correct. And Monday = less people = more 1-on-1 time with the ladies Gangnam Style

RE: Released Abe
If anything I bet Abe knew at that point....probably was a bit upset and likely said what he was feeling at that moment....perhaps a bit betrayed....I thought by his nfl.com interview he had reflected and knew he was gonna miss another run....

RE: Released Abe
He may have been pissed off at the time, who knows?

But the way he spoke and acted on the NFL Network interview can not be faked. He was very sincere and it's possible cooler heads came about.

That's all well and good, but there are a lot of us who have been through 30 or more years of disappointment. I became a Falcon fan in 1980 and I can't even begin to describe how much suffering I've been through in that time. If I knew that the Falcons were going to win every game next season by thirty points I wouldn't miss a snap of any game, and I'd record them and watch them over and over. I'd be totally happy if the Falcons destroyed everyone they played and I knew it was going to happen.
