Its a personal preference so react how you want to.

Me, personally, I didn't watch any sports at all for about 3 weeks, sans the Super Bowl, and then I was calm.

I'm over it now but I came to the conclusion that the more it hurts, the closer we were.

Of the recent playoff games this is my ranking based on how hurt I was from least to most

2008
2011
2010
2012

2010 and 2012 are the most because I felt like we let Green Bay out of hand or else we would have won and of course 2012 because when you're up 17-0 you think we are almost 80% sure we are going to the Super Bowl.

And the great thing is I dont see how we take a step back. It's possible we stay stagnant, but even then thats ok because we could have gotten there with our 2012 team. I'm as happy as ever, other than 1998, about the present and future. It's very difficult for me to be upset after the hurt from the loss wears off.

I never said the Falcons were a lock to take a step back. I haven't got a clue how I think the Falcons will do in 2013 because I don't have a clue how the team will shape up. The off-season doesn't officially begin until March 12th when teams can start signing free agents.

I happy with where the Falcons are compared to where they were in 2007 and the many years before that. But I'm far from satisfield. I guarantee I wouldn't be so upset about the loss if Joe Flacco didn't win the Super Bowl and I have to see his jerkoff face everywhere. He's such a prick and it just pisses me off that his team won the Super Bowl.

I watch a lot of the Disney Channel so I couldn't get away from it even as much as I tried by not watching ESPN because of that whole "I'm going to Disney World" commercial. Other than watching a couple sporting events here or there I have watched maybe an hour total of ESPN since the Falcons lost.

We are all upset about that, but what can you do? Blame the entire organization for it's existence? We are in good shape now. We got over many humps and finally have an OC and DC worth a damn that have the ability to take us to a SB.

Re: Released Abe
Want another positive sign? We all know people love a winner. In the past people outside of Atlanta thought of the Falcons as a joke if they even thought of them at all. I just got back from the Bahamas and of course I was wearing Falcons gear. There were more than a few positive comments about the Falcons from the other Americans I talked to. However, I was walking the streets of Nassau and people were saying "Go Falcons, we were pulling for them", we are talking about citizens of another country for God's sake. This never would have happened before. I know it really doesn't mean a whole lot but it sure as hell made me feel good.

Stop getting so defensive man. I was actually on your side. I was just telling you why I wasn't upset anymore.

I personally can't do a damn thing about it but uselessly rant and rave on here like everyone else does.

I'm not defensive. But you were talking to me and you said that as If I had said it. And I'm not upset about it anymore. I have moved on. I'm excited because baseball season is here. I don't have a clue what the Falcons will do in free agency or the draft and I'm not a draft buff so the off-season really doesn't mean anything to me. If I weren't a baseball fan I would be extremely bored waiting for August to get here. Luckily the Braves on paper look as good as they've been in 10 years and I'm really excited to see how they do.

Not defensive? LOL, you've been whining like a little baby for weeks. You need to clean the sand out of your vajaja and quit acting like this hasn't been an exceptional top tier team the past 5 years. Your expectations are so ridiculously obnoxious, you're delusional. It's hard to get to the playoffs in this game much less win the SB and you're bitching and moaning as if this team sucks because we lost 4 playoff games and haven't won a SB. That's some delusional xbox fantasy land level shit right there. And I'm sick of seeing you cry about it.

RE: Released Abe
NFL trends and research . If Falcons are going to win a Super Bowl Smith, Ryan or TD one of them will not be here . You win a Super Bowl within first 5 years or a change is made somewhere to win a Super Bowl

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .
