Here is my reply on AFMB about this....

Sympathy

Good point. This Norwood thing hurts. Such an exciting player and an asset to our O. Sadly, I don't see him ever staying healthy enough to be a dependable impact player.

Adam_Schefter -- "Not the best month for Saints RB Reggie Bush: Initial diagnosis is that he suffered a fractured fibula Monday night. More x-rays in N.O."

Wow. If that's true, he is out for a while. Even though he is a Saint, I hate to see serious injuries to any player.

I hate to see injuries to any player as well and I do wish Bush a speedy recovery. I do think its part of the game though and a team can't really use injuries as an excuse. You have to be prepared for injuries and have the depth to be able to overcome them. Quality depth is an important characteristic of any good team.

Listen, there have been jokey little threads about the Madden Curse and all that jazz, but in reality, watching one of your starters go down is devestating, no matter what position. Watching a skill player go down is doubly difficult to swallow. The real thing that sucks is the Taint's have no one like this guy to plug in this hole.

Broken Fibula; Ouch. That's 4-6 weeks right there.

Im pretty sure it's not a life-threatening injury, or even a career-ending injury, to your golden boy Bush. Injuries happen every week - it's part of the game. So Im not going to cry a boohoo that you lost your scat-back for a while.

We had more than our share of injuries last year, so fuck all you Saints fans wanting sympathy for that prima-donna who just lost his Heisman trophy.

And also - Cant wait to see you in your Dome next Sunday too!

I don't want sympathy, and i dont expect anyone to feel bad if we lose without bush in the lineup. Injuries are a part of the game. I was merely saying that on other teams forums people wish for broken legs all the time and then make fun of the guy when it happens. I agree reggie hasnt handled himself well at all, and can come across as quite the prima donna, but he is a team player when it comes to the saints so far. Who knows maybe when he's gone from the saints down the line somewhere he'll throw them under the bus like he pretty much did USC. However, i was just saying that it was great to see, on a rival teams forum, that people felt
bad for a man getting injured.

***Edit***
You know actually, i dont expect you guys to feel bad if we lose at all, lol. I would expect nothing short of celebration and probably a little trash talk. Thats what makes a rivalry fun.
