Re-assessing the Saints

i couldn't help but wonder if the Falcons front office gave the OK to MM to set up the game plan for Pittsburgh on sunday night, that's sure as hell what it looked like to me....

i know sour grapes cause i picked them in the eliminator game and the bastiges went out and played like a freakin high school team LOL.... BASTIGES

Saints will be a contender as long as they get superior QB play from Drew Brees and they have Gregg Williams running the defense. You gotta give the Saints DC props that he took a team with average talent and made them an opportunistic team on defense by bringing lots of pressure. On top of that, Saints have(when healthy) very nice secondary with corners Greer, Porter & Gay and safeties Sharper, Jenkins and Harper.

Saints are a contender - Falcons will need to win 11-12 games to win the division - and for those of you who think Falcons will automatically win our home game with Saints - well that is far from certain. Sure Falcons are phenomenal 16-1 @ home w/ Matty Ice under center but it will be a competitive game for sure.

If you're not gonna write them off for 2 godawful losses at HOME, then why "write them on" for one solid win? That makes no sense. They lost BADLY to 2 sorry teams and had 1 win over a team that really beat themselves. 2 > 1 is it not? So why are their TWO bad losses an aberration and ONE good win the real deal? Congratulations, you avoided losing a 4th game at home. Your prize? Being 3rd best in your own division. You are 5-3, and you are what your record says you are.
