I would give the Texans our 1st & 3rd this year and maybe like a 4th round pick in 2012 right now to get Mario Williams - of course he would have to agree to a new contract before the trade was completed. Mario Williams is a beast!

Mario Williams' talent will be wasted in his scheme? I will look to draft a defensive end in the draft and trade Mario? If they were planning on trading him, you try not to look like you are trying to unload a player. Who did Wade have in Dallas? I know he had a couple of DE's, but no one was ever too spectacular. Houston doesn't have a legit OLB, but I think they are trying to move Cushing over there. (02-01-2011 07:59 AM)Nuccah Wrote: I'd pay for Charles Johnson over Ray Edwards. Ray has had decent production with Allen across from him and both Williams' while Johnson has been a stud on a no-name DL. If our FO goes after Edwards, I will be very disappointed. I think I would too, even though CJ finally came up huge this year after being a nobody. Problem is Carolina may either franchise or tender him. I am pretty sure Carolina actually wants him, but the feeling in Minnesota is not the same. Also, apparently Edwards potential replacement in Minnesota has been arrested twice in three days. It's almost a spree.

Carolina has so many big name players hitting FA that there is a good chance they take the risk of FA with him if they don't get him signed to a long term deal. Pretty much comes down to who they think is more important for the franchise tag, Kalil or Johnson. I'd welcome either one of them in ATL. |
