It doesn't help their terrible offensive line block. And their defense has been underwhelming, but I know they have been dealing with injuries in the secondary. Vikings are REALLY pushing for the "win now" idea. |

RE: Randy Moss is about to be a Viking
Since when has Moss fixed anyones problems? Ask yourself this: Why has one of the NFL's most prolific receivers been traded 2 and potentially 3 times?
The only receiver I can gauge him against is Jerry Rice. Rice has all the important receiver records, plus 4 rings. He played very unselfish and even took a cut from the 49ers with grace, he went on to have 2 more very good seasons with the Raiders. Moss is notorious for not giving any effort when losing. He has no championship drive. He dogged it during the 07 playoffs and failed to step up in the Super Bowl, yes he caught one TD in the game but it where was he the rest of the time. He only cares about playing when it affects Randy. Here's a classy quote from a classy guy about the Marshall plane crash tragedy: Marshall plane crash In a 1997 Sports Illustrated article, when discussing the 1970 Marshall plane crash, Randy Moss was quoted as saying, "The plane crash was before my time. I don't try to go back in the past and say this football game is for the people in the plane crash. I've seen the burial ground. I went up there and looked at the names. It was a tragedy, but it really wasn't nothing big." |

You thinking adding Moss instantly makes Favre, 5 years younger because so far this season he has looked his age, and a tad bit slower even in his release. I'm sure it will help Favre but I'm still not sold on him just yet, BYE week couldn't have come at a better time for those guys though IMO.

Well with Randy Moss and Brett Favre they have two of the best regular season players ever.

Has there ever been a timespan in your life where you did something really stupid and then 13 years ago you look back and say "What was I thinking?" There are times where people change. One thing about Moss is that he has always played the same way his whole career. He always looks sluggish or nonchalant on the field and yet he is still this good. I'm starting to believe that the way he plays is just that. I really don't think he has an attitude problem when it comes to playing on the field. All throughout college and the NFL, I have never seen Moss play any differently. He always plays as if he isn't trying but he actually might be. P.S. I wouldn't mind him here, but I'm not up in arms that he isn't here either. |

RE: Randy Moss is about to be a Viking
He plays sluggish because he doesn't care. He is no team player he is a Randy player. Look at his numbers in Oakland. He was terrible because he didn't want to play there.
If he comes here he automatically is the #3 option. He would not want to perform for us as the #3 option. Would he have chased down Clements on Sunday and stripped the ball? No. He would have stood there with his hands on his hips and latter criticized Ryan. White played balls out and saved the game for us. We don't need that on this team. |

"Maybe because I'm unhappy, and I'm not too much excited about what's going on, so my concentration and focus level tends to go down when I'm in a bad mood," ... "So all I can say is if you put me in a good situation and make me happy, man, you get good results."
Is there anything else to discuss about his chances here? |

They have really only played one team with a semi-competent offense in New Orleans. Not sure if Fins or Lions or Bye week gave them problems. Maybe I just expected them to play better. |
