Serious, I can't pull for the Aints under ANY circumstances. As much as I hate the Cowboys (my cousin plays for them though) I will be a Cowboys fan this week. |

RE: Pulling for the NFC
As long as division teams, the Eagles, Packers, and Cowboys suffer horrible fates... I'm cool.

I hit the neg button to see what the outcome would be, since I'm new on the site. The outcome was simple. You got your panties in a wad. I wasn't being a troll. I wasn't making a negative comment against the Falcons. I was making a point while replying. My point was about weather Falcon fans should or shouldn't pull for NFC teams the rest of the season and I said no, they shouldn't. There are FIVE NFC teams only one win back from Atlanta. The Falcons are only a bad game and a bad BREAK (is that a better word for you?) from being in 3rd place in the NFC South. I wasn't talking about past games. Yes, the Falcons have a very good team, but yes, they can lose to GB and they can lose to New Orleans. Hell, alot of Falcon fans keep asking who they are going to be playing in the NFC championship game, not in their 1st playoff game. Green Bay is playing very good. Philly is playing very good. The Saints, yes, the Saints are playing very good. The Giants can beat anyone in the playoffs. There is no Golden ticket that wisp you off to the NFC championship game just because you're the #1 seed, which, I know this may shock you,HASN'T been decided yet. I'm not a troll. Sure, I can hates me some Falcons just like every other Saints fan, but I'm not a " FALCONS EAT SHIT" kind of football fan.Hell, I think it's on my birth certificate that I must hate the Falcons, but, they are a fun team to watch.Do I think the Saints are heading back to the Superbowl? Absolutly.People are getting healthy. Things are looking up.But, that's just me. I could be wrong. I gave you a positive for your last remark, just to even it up. You can stop the crying. |

Just to correct this, one loss would not drop the Falcons to third in the NFCS. We currently hold head-to-head victories over both the Saints and Bucs, so a loss would only mean we were ahead on that tiebreaker. Just thought I'd interject that. |

I was simply making fun of your comment about 'a bad bounce' and you seem to be the one who got his drawers bunched up over that by negging me. like i said, the negs don't mean anything coming from a troll, yes i said that and meant it as you're a fan from another team who hopes the worst for the falcons. the ironic thing is, i agree with you that as a falcons fan we should be pulling against the other NFC teams who are only one game behind us. a bad break or a bad call (see the grimes INT last year against you that was a bad PI call as reference) or an injury or two and yeah, we're up against the wall. so I personally am pulling for the opponent of whomever is within a game or two of us. I do watch football with that 'any given sunday' frame of mind, being a falcons fan for nearly 40 years, it's been the only hope for a lot of those seasons. I'm sure you understand that being a saints fan too. I'm proud that the NFC south is apparently turning it around. I'm excited to see that we have two good teams right now, Falcons and Saints, and that Tampa is looking to be 'relevant' as well. And it appears that for the next several years anyway, our division might start to get some love, and maybe all the media coverage won't always be dangling from the jock straps of every NFC east team. sorry to hurt your feelings, but as you're pulling for green bay this sunday, i'll be pulling for dallas thursday... and for the record, i didn't go neg you just because i'm above that, and i wasn't crying, LOL means i was laughing. Chew on THAT, Petunia!
