but wasn't the column heading 'total'? so go back to the others who did make the playoffs, are theirs counted? probably are, so counting every pass that every quarter back would = total, right?

Ryan has one of the worst deep balls Ive ever seen. He throws rainbows, high in the air. I wish he would learn to lower his trajectory and get the ball down there without our WR having to stop and do a jump-ball to grab it.

Total attempts are total attempts. When you're looking at averages and percentages, the larger the sample size the better.

I think playoff stats should be left out .

Defense tightens up come playoff time ( outside ours)
Colder weather outside / by far less ideal throwing conditions
Playoff games are more close to the vest with here or there shot deep .

I also would like to see last years as well ..

Brady was without Moss , im sure that hurt his deep completions this year
and Manning was without Clark and playing with 3rd string wrs .
If the conclusion of these stats is that Ryan is equal to Manning & Brady as a deep thrower then I would disagree . There is so much comes to play .

Manning & Brady dont have running games so they have to face that S in coverage ..While Ryan benefits from having that solid running game the defensive schemes we face are tailored to stop the run by dropping the S down in the box .
