this is the thousandth and last time I answer this, but here goes. I used to have a friend who posted on the Falcons site, so I went there to see if I could look him up. I fell into ABF, and there were a lot of cool people there, so I stuck around, obviously to the tune of a bout 25K posts. I rarely talk football there, and certainly not the Falcons except in rare circumstances or bashing a Saints troll.

I like the people there, period. And many good ones are here now, so here I am. The forum iis titled "....and other NFL teams"
I lived in Ga for quite a bit of my life and I know there are some dang good folks there in Ga.Many are even Falcon fans.Tongue my mom and a few brothers and sisters still live there.

I don't spend too much time on Cowboy sites because I DESPISE Homers. I have one friend who is a Dallas fan and he's probably the friend I see the least. My other friends are Pittsburgh, Redskins, Jets colts or not into the NFL at all. So this is a lot like real life with me as far as who I hang with.

I do go to a few random ones and talk if someone wants to talk sensible. Like this season, why panic? If Dallas was 2-0, it would be stupid to say they are play off bound, and 0-2 is just as stupid to say they are doomed. No one in the NFCE is over 500 right now.

Good job. I just disagree with the Jets being at 4. I would put them further down the list. They are too inconsistant and not disciplined.

Yep.... our D needs to keep the Taint's from putting up more points than us.

We have alot to prove this week.

Great job poutlipper.

I agree with your top ten... I'd swap 15 (Giants) and 17 (Titians) however

It gets real subjective after 20 but I couldn't disagree with your choices.

Maybe the 49ers are a little better but those stupid turnovers kill them.

I'll look forward to this read each week.

RE: Poutlipper's Week #2 Power Rankings
Thanks for the input guys.

A couple of responses:

@Dembirds: In hindsight, I agree the Patriots should be ahead of them, if I were to do it over, I'd swap #10 and #11. I do think the Chargers are stronger than the Bengals, Dolphins, and Redskins though.

@Pencil: I agree with Dallas. I expect them to win against Houston, and probably by 2 possessions. That team won't stay down long.

@AtlantaFalconPokerPro: I agree with Tampa not being that good. They've played Carolina and Cleveland, two absolutely abysmal teams. But, 22-24 are all teams that have high expectations but started out slow. I think next week all 3 of those teams could leap over TB. I also agree with the Giants, they're going to slide down this list, easily the worst team in that division imo. The Bears are where I disagree with you. That defense is pretty decent, the addition of Julius Peppers will be huge, and although they don't have a true playmaker at receiver, Martz style of offense with Cutler and Forte will be successful I think.

@Raptor: I knew I'd catch it for that one lol, had their games been switched, ie, Sanchez had a great week 1, but a lousy week 2, then yes, they'd be further down the list. The power rankings do take into account the most recent performance as valued more than the week before. If Sanchez goes back to the way he played in week 1(which could happen depending on what happens to Braylon Edwards), then they'll drop.

@hitwriter: Thanks bud, I am agreeing with you guys that the Giants might be a little too high, but after the QB controversy in Tennessee plus the 7 turnovers, I have a hard time moving the Titans up any higher in the list.

I put the Texans over the Jets right now. Only because of the questions with Sanchez's week 1 performance. The Texans were consistently ridiculous both weeks so far.

Yes, but the texans defense is like 31st in the league.
