You are WAY overestimating the Ravens and Packers. It makes me question whether you actually watch the games, and not the highlights. Are the Ravens a solid team? Hell yeah! Can we beat them at home? Hell yeah!

We may lose 2/5 games you mentioned, but not more than that. I may be a homer, but damn... Have some faith!

I just love it when there is a debate and someone says "it makes me wonder if you even watch the games"..........yeah, I watch the games. Not sure if you do......Falcons beat the Saints but we hardly stopped the Saints - Packers are very similiar team to the Saints. I think the Falcons "can" beat the Packers but I see more ways for them to win than us. You say the Packers cannot run the ball - well their ranking is #15 in NFL - which means they are "average" at rushing the ball - hardly awful...

I'm tempted to ask where he stands on the Ryan vs Flacco debate lol. Smile

sorry to bring realism to the board......

you guys are right......Falcons will go 13-3 and win the championship by beating the Ravens 48-3......glass is not only full - but its overflowing - there are zero flaws in this team. </end sarcasm>

I pick the Falcons to go 11-5 and make it to the NFC Championship game(and lose) and you guys are saying that i'm a doubter........LMAORolleyes

i bet you said the same thing a few years ago when Giants barely made the playoffs at the end of the year, tooCool

Anytime you say that the falcons have no chance to win, I'm going to question whether or not you watch the games. You've made some statements that tell me that you watch the highlight reels, and listen to Trent Dilfer rather than watching the game.

If you had been watching actual games, then you'd know that we have a good chance of beating the Ravens. In fact, I can make a solid argument that Atlanta's defense is better than the Ravens. In fact, here you go...

Do you see the Ravens anywhere on that list? The Ravens have one interception this year... ONE. Our defense may give up some yards, but we create turnovers which wins games (ask the 09 Saints).

Now lets look at our offense compared to the Ravens...

Atlanta's total offense ranks 6thin the league.
The Ravens ranks 15th

Atlanta ranks 1st in the league in rushing (per stats page on espn)
Baltimore ranks 11th in the league in rushing

I'm going to save myself a bunch of time by just telling you that we rank higher than the Ravens in the majority of stats. I don't even wanna look up 3rd down comp. %, or first downs. Baltimore isn't as great as you make them out to be...

Please tell me again why the Falcons can't beat the Ravens at home?

I can bring up twice as many reason for why we can beat the Packers than I can the Ravens.

Im sorry but there is NO WAY IN HELL the Packers are beating us in the NFC Championship game.

The Packers are completely 1 dimensional, Aaron Rogers takes way too many sacks. We should be able to beat Green Bay in our sleep.
WE ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE NFC - PERIOD.

I won't go as far as to say in our sleep, but we can beat them. Especially in the Dome. The beauty of our schedule is that our hard games are at home.

Oh, I mentioned this earlier but...

When leading going into the fourth quarter, the Falcons are 20-1. Fucking awesome.

Not to rain on your thunder, but I posted that 20-1 thread last night here.
