RE: Playoff Predictions through NFL week#5
The packers over the Falcons? You're listening to the media more than you are watching the games.
Oh, and I don't see us losing 4 more games this season. We might lose 2 or 3 more, but not 4. |

Falcons could easily lose 4 - here is 5 that could be relative toss-ups.....besides these, there is always a "head-scratcher" loss in the schedule somewhere - there is almost every year. Don't be naive - they don't play the games "on paper". @ Eagles vs Ravens vs. Packers @ Tampa vs. New Orleans |

We'll be able to pull away with at least one of those road games. I don't see us losing more than 4 games this season if we can stay relatively healthy. The Packers aren't as good as you think. They have absolutely no running game, which is crucial to having success in the NFL. |

RE: Playoff Predictions through NFL week#5
I'm not scared of Tampa, not this season. We will give Freeman an absolute fit on D. NO at our house? On MNF? NEVER. @ Philly, maybe. vs Baltimore, depends on which Baltimore offense shows up. I think we give Flacco a fit also. Their D isnt as good as Pitt's IMO. So you see toss ups, I see winnable games. Yeah, it's kinda 'homer-ish' but with the way we have been finding wins, I think we continue to put it together. Our D is maturing in front of our eyes. Abe owned a pro-bowl LT yesterday, Biermann is finally getting into the backfield. Our DBs are playing lights out, if we can get our O on point, we will be absolutely nasty.
This is my signature. |

RE: Playoff Predictions through NFL week#5
We will not beat the Baltimore Ravens - sorry, cannot see it. Ravens defense is absolutely stifling and the home crowd can only help so much. Our defense would need to hold Ravens under 12 points to win that game - doubtful we could do that. Ravens game: LOSS
On Packers game, I cannot picture Falcons slowing down Aaron Rodgers - we did not slow down Drew Brees - he stopped himself w/ the two INT's.....370yds given up to Drew Brees. Can you imagine what Clay Matthews is gonna do to Sam Baker? Let me tell you - it will be U-G-L-Y.....Packers game: LOSS I will also tell you this - very, very, very hard to win up in Philly - it won't matter who is starting (KOLB/VICK). Falcons don't play great on the road. Eagles game: LOSS I think we can beat our division rivals listed above - so that would be 3 losses and 2 wins.......we would lose somewhere else on the road(maybe Tampa) - that would put us at 5 losses and 11-5 record. To me, this is most probable. More likely to win 11 than 12 or more. Trying to be objective here and not a homer. |

It's a hell of a lot easier to shut down Rodgers when their only option is to throw the ball. You are WAY overestimating the Ravens and Packers. It makes me question whether you actually watch the games, and not the highlights. Are the Ravens a solid team? Hell yeah! Can we beat them at home? Hell yeah! We may lose 2/5 games you mentioned, but not more than that. I may be a homer, but damn... Have some faith! Plus, our D is going to continue to get better as the season progresses. Our O is going to start clicking on all cylinders pretty soon, and when it does.... Watch out NFL. |

Eh the Packers have no run game and have not been that impressive thus far as they get more and more injured. I think they are barely holding on as it is, a superbowl appearance would be surprising.

He's actually saying we have no chance of beating the Ravens... WTF? |

RE: Playoff Predictions through NFL week#5
Ugh stop coming down on the Falcons.
The Packers suck. Rogers couldn't pull off the big yards and win against Chicago. His 169 yards passing against the mighty lions doesn't impress. The Eagles offense is one dimensional now and every Falcon fan knows how to stop Vick. Kolb is not relevant. Our D is stifling. The Ravens game is gonna be good. No one comes into Atlanta looking for an easy win. |
