RE: Playbook: White Hot
I have mixed feelings about it. I don't know if I love it, or I want to scream SHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Don't tell anyone! I love that Roddy was under the radar and has just blown up.

RE: Playbook: White Hot
By the end of the season, he will permanently be regarded along the same lines as Fitz, Wayne, and Andre Johnson. He's permanenly in the discussion of "whose the best WR in football".

If he stays zone in the way he is right now, there might not even be a discussion.

RE: Playbook: White Hot
I enjoyed the video from the aspect that MM actually was calling some decent plays. He had a monster game. I also don't believe that doubling Roddy works. He is doubled all the time and still gets the catch. The more other teams focus on Roddy and the pass, the more Turner will explode.

This season is about to get NASTY!!!!

RE: Playbook: White Hot
Something that should get any Atlanta fan excited about this is the fact that when opposing teams start game planning for Roddy, that opens up the field for the rest of our offense. TG loses his usual bracket coverage, the box doesn't get stacked for Turner/Snelling, and Jenkins will see more one-on-ones (hopefully he will get the separation). The things that Roddy does for the team even when he isn't getting the ball are significant.

I think Jenkins already sees one on one coverage on every snap of his life. Maybe teams will start covering Roddy with 3 guys and not covering Jenkins at all.

Then we'd probably see balanced production from the two of them.

You're probably right. I guess I was just getting at the fact that maybe opposing teams will disregard him more than they already do and he finally gets that elusive 100 yd game.
