Peyton! Time to Disable the auto reply consolidator feature!
It makes me crazy!
Where you reply to two different posts before someone else replies to anything, so it's consolidated into one post??!! Anyone else have a problem with that? Sorry to bitch. LOVE the board, of course. BUT FIX THAT! HolyDuckett: The immaculately conceived gay-love-child of HolyMoses and duckettplease. (I'm straight, I'm just the result of their gay love, got it?) |

RE: Peyton! Time to Disable the auto reply consolidator feature!
I second the issue with the auto consolidator. I wouldn't mind it as much except it should, IMHO, only be with multi-quotes. The issue I have is sometimes I respond to one person then post another thought on a different subject, and it comes across as one post divided by a line rather than separate thoughts.
If it ONLY consolidated multiple quotes, I would actually like it. But since it can make a follow-up appear as if it is in response to a prior quote, it drives me nuts. |

RE: Peyton! Time to Disable the auto reply consolidator feature!
P.S., HD, that does sound kind of weird. Actually, I just wrote this to illustrate the problem ;p
And then you ruined it..... P.P.S., another option would be to put a time limit on consolidating, or make it optional at the discretion of the poster. |
