Yea, I know - I was saddened by that - but that has nothing to do with how he was when he was a writer at SI.

If you're a home town sports writer - that's one thing, but when you write for SI or ESPN or NFL - you're supposed to leave the homer crap at home and report fairly. He didn't and for that matter - half those guys don't. They all have their favorites and they let it show in their reporting.

And Michael Lombardi - I don't know who stuck what up his craw - but he's unbelievable hateful when it comes to the Falcons. You can literally see the venom.

How about Matthew Berry? He contently hates on the Falcons also.

Michael Lombardi used to be an executive for the 49ers, Rams, Browns, Raiders, and Eagles. I find it odd that someone in upper management would move around so much, he must not have been very good at what he did.

But yea, Dr. Z never loved the Falcons very much.

Still doesn't explain his very obvious disdain for the Falcons. Something had to have happened at some point. He literally acts disgusted every time the Falcons come up.

Once the Falcons win something then there will be no room for his nonsense.

Either way - if he ever wants to be a good reporter - he should try watching the games.

That was the thing with Dr Z he is soooo old. He talked about wing backs and Frank Gifford and like they were still relevant. He considered the Giants and Packers as the only legitimate franchises. Just snobby to any expansion teams even those from the 60's.
