That pass interference by Porter on Jenkins really cost us more than it cost the Saints. I believe that play would have been a touchdown and could have won the game for us if Porter wouldn't of grabbed Jenkins arm. I was wondering just like when an offensive holding penalty takes place when a quarterback is in his own end-zone it is automatically ruled a safety. Should there be a rule for when a defensive pass interference takes place in the end-zone that it automatically becomes a touchdown?

I just want to know everyone's thoughts about it.

This JUST went through my mind. That bitch DELIBERATELY interfered on back to back plays. If he doesn't then Jenks brings that in. That's just not right, especially when compared to the "if you weren't holding/didn't throw the ball away, he would've sacked you, so we're giving him the safety" ideology.

At the same time, 99% of the time, the ball at the 1 is a fitting penalty since 99% of the time(and EVERY SINGLE TIME SINCE 98 AGAINST THE FUCKIN AINTS) it results in points.

There should be degrees of interference that are taken into account in the endzone. Maybe.

To answer your question, yes...if it occurs in the end zone, I feel as though it should always be ruled an automatic TD.
