RE: PFF: The All “After Three Years We Can Judge Them” Team
Just 1 season though ....and Westbrook while a good player is not in same breathe as Thomas ..also Bills had a pretty good defense to and Bruce Smith another HOF player during Kelly era..

Even if McNabb has a potential HOF career, he has had 13 seasons to contribute to that so why don't you give Ryan enough time so he can try to build up some accolades for himself because he sure as hell isn't going to do it in just his first three years. How many QBs have you known to be labeled a HOF in just his first three years? |

I dont think i ever said I would replace Ryan ..I did state early if Ryan doesnt lead us to a playoff win in next 2-3 years I would def start to look to go in another direction but that is the whole team in general coaching/front office etc ..6 years into process no playoff success things should change no? ..there are only a select few I would consider HOF potential QBS in first 3 years Manning Marino Brady Big Ben Elway ![]() I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Manning's first year he had 26tds but 28ints which is not good, his second season was good, and his 3rd season was extremely good but I would not call him a HOF do to those three years. He did not win a playoff game until his 6th season. Brady sat his first year and he put up average stats during his second year( which he won his first Super Bowl), his third year was when he started becoming very good but not yet great at the time. Roethlisberger had average stats his first 2 years and had a bad regular season in 2006 with 18tds and 23ints. John Elway had the worst 3 years out of all of them with 7tds and 14ints his first year, 18tds and 15ints his second year, and 22td and 23ints his third year. It is just very hard to label someone as a HOF if they have only played 3 seasons so far. The only way that can happen is if that person lead their team to a Conference Championship or a Super Bowl at least 2 out of 3 of their first three years with highly productive stats. |

This thread is giving me diabetes. Should hijacking threads be against the COC? It's pretty damn hard to have an on-topic discussion within a thread here nowadays.

I am talking about the leading of my team and the direction of this franchise. McNabb had a some great years in philly, but had we gone in a different direction and brought him in and had to endure his play over the last couple of years i would have to hurt somebody. more to chew on. Not drafting Matt Ryan and we select another quarterback that season. 2008 NFL Draft Joe Wakka Flakka Flame just like calling him thatBrian Brohm Chad Henne Kevin O'Connell John David Booty Dennis Dixon Josh Johnson Eric Ainge Colt Brennan Andre Woodson (wow I remember a lot of people on OMB that wanted to draft him) Matt Flynn Alex Brink Wow Peyton Hillis was 227 overall that year everyone missed the boat there. Undrafted Caleb Hanie For those of you that are on this board that don't like where we went with a quarterback, what other option was there. Stick with Chris Redman, and please don't go there with Mike Vick, there was no way after all he had done that he could come back. Philly has been the best thing that has ever happend to him... Of all that are out there i have to say that Matt is the best person to have going forward. The only other player out there that I like as much is Sam Bradford that has been drafted in the same period or after.... Thoughts???? Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

RE: PFF: The All “After Three Years We Can Judge Them” Team
We had no choice but to get Ryan. Quite frankly, he is one of the few recent big name qbs that have panned out at such a high pick. Many top 10 prospects are worth such high picks but many never live up to their expectations.
The most noticable of these top prospect names to be a pure disappointment is that huge qb from LSU. Sadly I can't remember his name at the moment. He was a waste. I saw him play a few games and was terrible. He also faked injuries to make it look like his high pick status wasn't wasted. Lol. I still can't think of his name. Guy sucks.
