No, but seriously... we need to make two big FA acquisitions focused primarily on the OL and DE positions. I believe we're gonna let Dahl walk... if we do, I think we should take a look at Logan Mankins.

Apparently, he doesn't believe he'll be with the Patriots next year. This dude was an important cog in the machine that was the Patriots' OL. I know we have Hawley and Johnson as depth, but just being honest here, they didn't make much noise during training camp, which doesn't give me any indication that they will improve the OL if one was to get the nod this year. Also, you have Charles Johnson (and a few others) but he seems to be the favorite by most posts I've read. Bottom line though, we need to get our pass rush going on a consistent basis and the OL needs to pass protect better by making a solid pocket for Ryan to make his throws. This has been our main problem since Day 1... consistency. If we can bring in some impact players to bolster the lines, I can see both sides of the ball improving tremendously.
