True.

A loss for the Saints would be devastating to their confidence. That would bring their loss colum to 4, one more than all of last year at the half way point. Reggie
may be a spark to their offense, but their problems go much deeper. A lot of things are not working for them. I would like to think that their dirty play has caught up with them.

i don't see reggie playing this week. if he's out there at all, he'd be more a decoy. playing in the NFL with a partially healed broken leg is just ASKING to get reinjured!

if he does play, no way can he be up to full speed, and one or two good hits and he's out again. we're talking about the PITTSBURGH defense here

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

The refs might have a nervous breakdown in this one. Who to help?!?!?! Our beloved Taints or Stealers?

If Brees keeps playing the way he's been playing and throws it to the Steelers a few times it won't matter if Bush is playing or not.

Personally, I would love to see the Saints get mashed by the Steelers.

GEAUX Falcons!!!!

I honestly think Brees is more hurt than the Saints are letting on. Remember, it was during the Falcons game that Brees' knee first got hurt. Since then, Brees has been listed each week on the injury report as Probable (Knee). His stats have dropped dramatically the last 4 games:
115/175, 1173 YDS, 65.7% Completions, 6.7 YDS/A, 8 TDs, 8 INTs, 81.0 QB Rating.

At that rate, for the rest of the season, Brees final stats would look like this:
459/681, 4668 YDS, 67.4% Completions, 6.86 YDS/A, 32 TDs, 28 INTs, 85.3 QB Rating.

The refs will be fine. They'll just follow orders from the league office on this one.

I agree with whoever mentioned the refs. They show such unbelievable bias towards the Steelers and Saints that it will be game within a game to see which spoiled team gets more freebies from the refs.

I agree.

Let's not forget that Brees is not the tallest QB so he may need to be able to move around in the pocket to be able to see downfield and his knee problems could be affecting his mobility.

That's just a guess on my part but somethings up with him because some of those throws in the Browns game were bad decisions.... like throwing across his body to the other side of the field.
