Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
It looks like Reggie Bush will be back in the line up. Can his play help the Aints or are they all just having a SB Hangover?

I think Reggie will help them, but I also think that Pierre Thomas would help more. I'm not going to straight up say NO can't win, but their chances will go up some if Aaron Smith can't go for the Steelers. Scratch that, he is out. That'll help an O-Line that has looked over powered recently. |

RE: Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
I don't think he'll be back for a couple more weeks. I doubt he fully practices this week. Remember Vick had the same injury when he was with us, and was out 10+ games. I think Reggie is being overly optimistic.

RE: Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
His ability to make plays out of the backfield should help, Pitts, LBs are not great in coverage and if Shockey can draw some attention from Troy P and the O-line can hold the rush a little he could exploit some mismatches. I still am not sure if he will be up to facing the hits they will bring though.

RE: Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
Don't even get it twisted Reggie Bush is a nice security blanket for Brees and he makes the Saints offense that much better. If anything he should serve as a spark to get them out of the current funk they are in, but at the same time that defense has a ton of issues. Reggie can't fix those.

RE: Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
No matter how they have played so far - the Saints are always dangerous in the Superdome. The lack of running game has been the biggest issue for them lately.
Bush coming back could be the answer or it could add to the problems depending on how they use him. If they try to use him as a running back again - like they did a couple of years ago - they will not improve much. If they continue to utilize him the way they have been - he'll be very dangerous. This game could go either way. ![]()

They are playing the Steelers right?
Terrible matchup for the Saints. I think there is a good chance they get embarrassed. |

RE: Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
I am not convinced that Reggie Bush will play Sunday night. He's not fully healed.
I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't! |

RE: Opinions on this upcoming Sunday night game
Saints have a better record and better offensive stats without Reggie Bush. Letting Reggie touch the ball takes the ball away from a more competent offensive player, but as of right now, might as well be a wash, because whoever has it is going to suck/disappoint.
