When you finish the research, you should feel better.

I agree with your point, but weren't the Falcons favored against the Eagles?

Maybe I am wrong. I thought they were a point favorite or so.

I'll go ahead and give my highly sophisticated break down of this game.

The Seattle Seahawks are a very bad football team that has put together a bad record against a schedule full of bad teams. They do nothing well with the singular exception of kickoff returns.

The Atlanta Falcons are a very good team that has put together a great record against a schedule of very good teams. They do almost everything well.

It would take a collapse of nearly epic proportions for the Falcons to lose this game.

Not worried about that happening in the least.

This game should not even be close.

Unfortunately, NFL odds makers think Atlanta’s winning streak will come to an end Sunday, listing the Falcons as a 3-point underdog with the total set at 41.5.

I'm pretty sure the last time the Falcons let us down was the Panther game in Charlotte last season. And even then I'm not certain we were favored.

Edit: In fact, they were . . . by 2. The ONLY time in at least the last two years. In fact, I'm not sure they lost when they were favored in 2008 (just because they were rarely favored that year!)

True enough, but I would love to be the first team to sweep the South!

I'm with you NOVA....plus my "hate factor" is much higher for the Saints than it is for anyone else.

I will be breathing easier after Seahawks game if we win. I know we will beat the Panthers and obviously the Saints/Falcons game could go either way but like our chances there as well.

good post Tandy - I feel the same - just a little anxious about this game. Hoping for 12-2 and no injuries as well.

are you going to the game, Tandy? I know you go to lots of road games.

No, I can't make this one. I'm spending a lot of time in Memphis with my sister and nephew these days.
